CFBTUG Meeting November 20th

Our next Central Florida BizTalk User Group meeting is on November 20th:
Joe Healy, Microsoft .NET Evangelist will be hosting our joint meeting with the Tampa Bay International Association of Software Architects (IASA). Danny Del Rio will be giving a two hour session on BizTalk architecture.

1st topic:
Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) using BizTalk Server 2006R2

2nd topic:
Implementing and consuming SOA services with BizTalk Server 2006R2Meeting will be held at Tampa Microsoft Gulf States Office at 5426 Bay Center Dr Suite 700 Tampa, FL 33609.

The meeting was a huge success! Thanks to Frank Hagney (Director Southeast Region) from Tallan (http://tallan.com/) for sponsoring our chapter and providing the beer and pizza! Also, thanks goes out to Joe Healy (http://devfish.net/), Microsoft Gulf States .NET Evangelist for hosting us in their awesome facility!

Attendance
We had about 20 people show up! I got a chance to meet some really great folks who were interested in BizTalk R2 Technology. Tallan's CEO Craig Branning was in the Tampa area and attended as well.

Speakers
Shawn Cutter and I delivered the presentation on an overview of BizTalk components and other connected systems such as SOA and WCF.
